IFI Mutual Funds
Why Mutual Funds?
Mutual funds take the money from individual investors and pool it into a diversified and professionally managed portfolio. With a minimal investment often less than a $1,000 you can own the stock of dozens or more companies.
For smaller investment portfolios i.e. under $20,000 it may not make sense to invest in anything more than a mutual fund. Unless you have an enormous amount of time to understand and analyze your investments and properly manage your portfolio, mutual funds are the answer.
Although mutual funds are one of the best ways for the amateur investor to get started, they afford a place in all portfolios including those of sophisticated and wealthy investors. Mutual funds are the very best of vehicles to expand a portfolio into international investments, sector investments, and other niche markets that offer the potential for higher returns with an acceptable risk factor.
